The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed with regard to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into click here a large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance position produced for intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
